US-based digital mental health solution provider Ksana Health has partnered with Children’s Wisconsin, a paediatric healthcare provider in Wisconsin, with the aim to improve the delivery of children’s mental health care.
The collaboration introduces Vira, a digital behavioural health care platform developed by Ksana Health using the Pediatric Primary Care Integrated Behavioral Health model.

Vira uses artificial intelligence to support evidence-based therapeutic principles and includes smart automations to enhance clinical workflows.
This aims to reduce the burden on healthcare providers and offer tailored mobile interventions to support children and their families’ health.
Children’s Wisconsin Mental and Behavioral Health Research director Dr Michael Gaffrey said: “We see enormous potential in digital mental health tools to empower clinicians and families with continuous, data-driven behavioural support.
“This collaboration marks a significant step forward in realising a sustainable, effective integration of mental health services within paediatric primary care.”

In paediatric primary care settings, where 90% of children are seen each year, there are significant opportunities for early identification and treatment of mental health issues.
Despite this, many children with mental and behavioural health disorders do not receive the care they need.
Addressing this gap has become a system-wide priority for Children’s Wisconsin.
The health system operates locations in Milwaukee and Neenah, Wisconsin, and claims to be recognised as one of the US’ leading paediatric healthcare providers.
